Add an instrument in the form of meter or gauge to track on equipment. Example: Add an odometer on a vehicle to track mileage, and schedule work based on the instrument readings.
- Go to the Equipment section, choose the specific equipment from the list on the left, and then click on the second icon below the equipment gears.
2. Click the
[add] symbol to add an instrument.
4. Enter the instrument name, type, units, and roll-over value.
The Roll-over Value represents the maximum value that the instrument's gauge or meter can display.
Example: When setting up an instrument, such as a car speedometer with a maximum speed reading of 160 MPH, remember to input the Roll-over Value as 160. This value represents the maximum reading the gauge or meter can display before rolling over to zero.
