Antero Work Order Viewer (Parts)

Exploring the Parts section of the Work Order Viewer

Spare parts and materials can be included in the work order to effectively monitor all associated costs for completing the task. The total cost for parts is calculated by multiplying the unit cost from the parts section by the Actual Quantity specified on the work order.

Adding Parts

To add parts, click the ➕[add] button to bring up the add Parts window.  The mandatory fields in this window include the Part Name and Actual Quantity. After entering this information, the Save button will become active, allowing you to save the record.

The following fields will be added with the part and pulled from the Parts section:

• Name

• Description

• Warehouse

• Area

• Units

Both the Estimated Quantity and Actual Quantity can be entered in the add Parts window or later modified directly in their respective fields after the part has been added to the record.

The Estimated Quantity is aggregated within the Parts section, where the total estimated amount for each part is calculated and shown in the WO Est Alloc column. This helps users quickly see the anticipated number of parts needed for ongoing work orders.

Editing Parts

You can easily edit parts directly within the respective fields. Look for underlined fields, as these indicate that you can modify the information by either typing in new data or selecting from the available drop-down list.

The only fields available for editing in relation to parts are the Estimated Quantity and Actual Quantity.

Removing Parts

Click the cancel_16x16 [delete] button on the tool bar to permanently remove the Parts record from the work order.
