1. Next Work Order Number

The number displayed is the next work order number that will be assigned to the next created open work order created. This number is auto-incremented as work orders are created, but can be changed if desired.

  • Purpose: Ensures unique identification of each work order.
  • Example: If the current work order number is 1001, setting the next work order number to 1002 ensures continuity.

2. Next Procedure Number

Similar to work order numbers, this option manages the sequential numbering of procedures.

  • Purpose: Facilitates organized tracking and retrieval of procedures.
  • Example: In a medical database, the next procedure number ensures that each procedure is logged with a unique identifier.

3. Create Through Days

The create through days is the number of days in advance that you want Antero to create work that is scheduled.  The Create Through Days can be set anywhere from 1 to 365 days, 365 days being the max number allowed. This option also comes into play in Work Management when using the "Create Scheduled Work Orders" and the action will create the work orders that are scheduled in advance based on the number of days selected.

  • Purpose: The setting allows users to define how far out in advance they would like the program to create scheduled work orders. 
  • Scenario: The database setting is set to 30 days. A maintenance team can create work orders for the next 30 days, ensuring all tasks are pre-scheduled.

4. Default Work Order Status

This option sets the initial status of a new work order upon creation.

  • Purpose: Streamlines workflow by automatically assigning a status.
  • Example: New work orders can default to "Pending" status, indicating they are awaiting action.

5. Require Work Order Completed Notes

This setting mandates that notes be added upon the completion of a work order.

  • Purpose: Ensures comprehensive documentation and accountability.
  • Scenario: A completed repair work order requires notes detailing the work done, ensuring transparency and record-keeping.

6. Mobile Download Behavior

This option controls how Antero handles that work orders that are downloaded from Antero Mobile.

  • Purpose: Helps users control the work flow of Antero Mobile and streamline the process.
  • Options:
    • Move to Review: The work orders will be directed to the Review section, allowing an authorized user to finalize the work order and subsequently transfer it to Work History.
    • Move to History: Completed work orders will be moved to the Work History section.
    • Set to Work Status: When this option is selected, you will be prompted to select one of the predefined "work statuses" from your Work Management settings. For instance, you might establish a status labeled "Antero Mobile," allowing all synced work orders to appear in Work Management under this specific status.
