Instructions for creating multiple panes in a single chart within the Operator10 and Synexus Chart applications. Pane properties include settings that allow users to customize each chart pane.
Accessing the Charts Application
1. To begin, navigate to the main interface of the Operator10 or Synexus application and select the View ribbon.
2. In the Charts section, select the Charts button to proceed.
3. The Charts application will launch as a standalone window, separate from the main Operator10 or Synexus application.
4. Select the Properties button located in the Properties section of the Chart ribbon to access the Chart Properties window.
5. The Chart Properties window will appear on top of the Chart application, allowing you to easily modify the chart settings.
Creating Dual Panes
1. In the Chart Properties window, locate and select the Diagram button found within the Presentation group.
2. Select the Elements tab located within the Diagram pane, which can be found on the far-right side of the window.
3. At the bottom of the Elements tab, you will find a section labeled Panes. To create a new Pane, click the Add button. This action will generate a blank Pane in the Chart preview window.
4. To add a Series, navigate to the Presentation group and click on Series View. Then, click the down arrow at the top of the General tab to select the Series that will be used for the new Pane.
5. In the Linked Elements section of the General tab, click the down-arrow in the Pane
field to attach the Series from the previous step to. Select the newly created Pane. The
attached Series will appear with data in the Chart preview window.
6. You can repeat these steps for each Series that needs to be linked to a Pane.
7. When finished adding the Panes, click the Finish button. To save changes made to the
Chart, click the Save button in the Chart ribbon.
