How to Install the Antero Service.

Install the Antero Service to enable automatic generation of work orders.

The Antero service is a background feature on the server that creates work orders scheduled with work templates. It is crucial to install this service during the initial setup of the Antero application.

1. Access the "File" section of the program by navigating from the home screen of the Antero application.

2. Jot down the file path of the application directory. You will need to navigate to this specific location to find the file for the Antero service.

3. Once in the application directory, locate and open the file labeled "Setup_AnteroService" to initiate the setup process for the Antero service.

4. Click on "Yes" in the user control window to grant Antero permission to make changes to your computer.

5 . Click on "Next" to continue with the installation of the Antero service.

6. Review the details of the license agreement carefully, then click on the radio button to indicate your acceptance of the terms. Finally, proceed by selecting the "Next" option to continue with the installation process.

7. Proceed by selecting the "Next" option to advance with the installation process.

8. Proceed by clicking on the "Install" button to start the installation process.

9 . Wait for the installation process to finish and avoid closing the window or selecting the cancel option, as this will interrupt the installation progress.

10. Check the box shown in the image below to initiate the Antero service configuration and then click on the "Finish" button.

11. Select "Yes" in the user account control window (if it is displayed) to authorize changes to be made to your device.

 

12. Provide the server name where the database is located and set the frequency for the service to check for scheduled work orders. Save the settings to finalize the configuration.

13. The Antero service setup on the server is now complete. Click on "OK" to close the window and finalize the configuration process.
