Calculating Operator 10 and Synexus

Calculations can be performed for Location: Parameters in the current facility using various hourly, daily, or monthly formulas, or a combination of these. There are numerous methods for conducting these calculations.

1. Access the Tools ribbon located in the main interface of the Operator10 or Synexus application.

2. Select the Calculate button found within the Calculations section, and then click on the Calculate Now option from the dropdown menu.

3. The Calculation window will open.

4. Choose a date range in which the calculations should be applied. 

5. Manually type in appropriate dates or press the ‘…’ button to choose from a Calendar 
dialog.

 6. Click the ‘…’ button located to the right of the "All formulas for facility" radio button to select the specific Facility or Facilities on which the calculations will be conducted.

7. Click the button labeled "Calculate selected formulas" to specify which formula(s) you wish to execute for the calculations.

8. To initiate the calculation process, click the Start button.

        a. The duration of the calculations can vary from a few minutes to longer, influenced by the number of days selected, the complexity of the formulas involved, and the performance of your computer or network connection.  
        b. Calculations will proceed in the background, enabling you to use the Windows operating system without interruption.

Calculate Month-to-Date  

1. In the Tools ribbon, click the Calculate button and then choose Month-to-Date from the 
menu.  


2. The Calculation window will open.  
3. The calculate window will come up prepopulated with the first of the current month through 
the current date.  
4. Finally, click the Start button to start the calculation process.  

Calculate Previous Month-to-Date  


1. In the Tools ribbon, click the Calculate button and then choose Previous Month-to-Date 
from the menu.  


2. The Calculation window will open.  3. The calculate window will open up prepopulated with the first of the previous month through 
the current date. 
4. Finally, click the Start button to start the calculation process. 


Running Calculation in DataViews

  1. Navigate to the View ribbon located in the main interface of the Operator10 or Synexus application.

  2. Click DataViews button
  3. The Operator10 DataView application will launch in a new window, allowing you to work independently from the main application.
  4. In the Home ribbon, locate and click on the Calculate button found within the Calculations section.
  5. The Calculation window will open.
  6. Select the date range for which you want the calculations to be performed.
  7. You can either enter the desired dates manually or click the ‘…’ button to select dates from a calendar dialog.
  8. Click the ‘…’ button next to the "All formulas for facility" radio button to select the specific Facility or Facilities on which you would like the calculations to be performed.
  9. Select the ‘…’ button next to "Calculate selected formulas" to specify the particular formula(s) you would like to include in the calculations.
  10. Click the Start button to start the calculation process. 
    a. The duration for calculations to complete can vary from a few minutes to longer, influenced by factors such as the selected date range, the number of formulas being processed, and the overall performance of your computer.
    b. Calculations will run in the background, enabling you to use your Windows operating system without any interruptions.
  11. To see the results of your recently executed calculations, simply click the refresh button found in the Date Range section of the Home ribbon.
