Antero Audit Trail

The Audit Trail section in Antero collects information related to the usage of Antero.

The Audit Trail section in Antero collects information related to the usage of Antero.  For all users, basic auditing information is tracked, regardless of product key or option setting.  The following basic information is collected: application usage, add, rename and delete activity for section-level records, and parts quantity changes, both direct, and indirect.

As determined and necessitated by AllMax Software, Inc., more information will be added to the Audit Trail.

Viewing Audit Trail Information

Audit Trail information is immediately visible in this information-only section of Antero.  No data entry is required or possible as the application automatically logs entries to the database.  To view an extended period of data, use the Date Range: calendars in the top left-hand corner to narrow the date range of data to be viewed.

Audit Trail Sections Functionality

The Audit Trail section has a great deal of search capability which allows users to find information quickly.  To learn how to search for information in the audit trail section, follow the steps below.

Date Range Searching

1.In the Audit Trail sections toolbar click the down-arrow in the first Date range: field to open the calendar chooser or enter the search criteria beginning date.

2.Then, in the second calendar field (through), choose from the calendar window or enter the search criteria end date.

3.The Audit Trail sections grid will automatically update with information from the entered date range.

4.To make the grid revert back to all of the original information, blank out the date fields.

Text Searching

Below the Audit Trail sections toolbar is a text search field.

The search field has two methods for searching text in the sections grid.

  • The first method is by having the A in the ABC highlighted.  The A is for Showing records that begin with the search text.
  • The second method is by having the B in the ABC highlighted.  The B is for Showing records that contain the search text.

Next, type in the text field which will then be searched for in the Audit Trail section.  The Audit Trail grid will automatically filter the contents until text entering stops.
